Jay M. Wombolt

Jay Wombolt is a Vice President with First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc., in Overland Park, Kansas, where his responsibilities include identifying trade ideas based on the latest market information and executing fixed-income investment trades with financial institutions. Jay also provides asset/liability management and swap analysis. To ensure they have the tools necessary to manage their portfolios, Jay educates clients on relevant investment topics, including innovative security structures and regulatory changes. He began working with Gold Capital Management and served as an investment representative with them, covering southern Missouri. Prior to joining First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc., formerly First St. Louis Securities, Inc., Jay served as an investment representative with CNBS, LLC, a broker/dealer, covering the states of Ohio and Kansas.

Jay has worked in the capital markets since 2001, including sales of U. S. Treasury securities, agency debentures, mortgage-backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations and municipal bonds.

Jay graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Communications Studies.v
